WOCA Natural Sealer plus an Arctic Additive = Arctic Sealer 

Arctic Sealer is a water-based wood sealer that is ideal for areas where a light look is required.  For wood professionals only.

The Arctic Sealer seals the wood and minimizes the tannic acid penetration and side-bonding. It is suitable for untreated and sanded surfaces of light woods. Arctic Sealer works as a light, whiteish colored floor sealer before treatment with WOCA Optima or WOCA Advanced XP 2K.

Instructions

1:1 mixing ratio. Pour 2 ounce bottle of Arctic additive into one gallon bottle of WOCA Natural Sealer and shake/stir well. Following application instructions for Natural Sealer

Do I have to use a sealer before a WOCA Water Based Finish?

WOCA RP2K – No sealer required.

WOCA Optima – A stain or sealer is optional, we recommend WOCA Natural or Arctic Sealer

WOCA Advanced 2K – Yes, use WOCA Natural Sealer or Arctic Sealer

Do I have to sand between the sealer coat and the first finish coat?

Yes, it's important to remove raised grain and create scratch pattern on sealed surface for adhesion between coats of water based finish. Use 180-200 grit sandpaper.

Woca Woodcare Shipping and Delivery

Our warehouse ships Monday-Thursday. Orders received on Thursday and Friday will be processed and shipped by the following Monday.  Woca shipping uses Standard Shipping Rates for all U.S. Deliveries. Delivery is usually within 5 to 7 business days once parcel has shipped. If you need to receive the items sooner, please select an expedited shipping type at checkout.  

Due to the ongoing shipping delays and issues with FED EX, USPS and UPS, WOCA Woodcare will not reimburse shipping charges for delayed, lost or damaged shipments. Shipping charges are determined by FED EX, USPS and UPS.

When ordering Antique Oak Lye, Driftwood Lye, or Softwood Lye, there is an additional handling fee, and they must be shipped via FedEx Ground Hazmat. This is due to the hazardous material status of these products.
