This is a temporary reaction and not uncommon. The Softwood Lye creates a chemical reaction, and sometimes this is how the wood reacts. The green will eventually fade away to a shade of gray. The process can take up to 90 days. It is fine to finish the floor with a WOCA Oil while it is still “green”. WOCA Oil does not hinder the Softwood Lye reaction process.

Yes. All raw materials used in WOCA Worktop Oil are FDA approved in the saturation state, and is therefore food contact safe.

WOCA Denmark has products to clean and maintain commercial flooring. For oil finished wood flooring and other flooring surfaces, our maintenance products will help clean and protect those high traffic areas. While they both appear white, the Oil Refresher in Natural will not appear white after application. Both Refreshers consist partly of an oil emulsion, which gives the products a milky appearance in their containers.

Oil Refresher Soap White is used for white or light gray flooring.  Use Oil Refresher Soap in Natural for all other wood types.

WOCA Spot Remover is perfect for removing all indoor spots, dissolving red wine, grease, blood, coffee, or tea. It is soap based and may be used on unfinished, soaped, oiled, or waxed interior surfaces. Simply spray and let sit for 10-15 min, and scrub with a bristle brush until stain has been removed. Repeat treatment as necessary. It may be necessary to re-oil the surface with Master Oil or Maintenance Gel after use to protect the finish.

We recommend using WOCA Oil Color Testers to select the right color for your wood project. Different wood species and the wood’s natural color will impact the final color result. Using a color tester, you can sample different colors inexpensively. Ensuring that your project ends up with your desired color. Color Oil testers are available with Free Shipping in the USA, which is typically received in 3-5 business days. If you are in a hurry to receive your testers, you may choose an alternate shipping method.

WOCA Exterior Oil can be used on any type of wood. It provides excellent penetration of even dense hardwoods in just one coat. It is specially formulated to preserve the natural beauty of exotic hardwoods, but can also be used on traditional wood species. It penetrates deep into the wood grain where it hardens from the inside, leaving wood stronger and well protected. WOCA Deck Oil provides UV protection, and a water-resistant, breathable finish. The water based oil formula is quick drying, making it easy to apply. Your deck will be easy to maintain as a result of the breathable, mold and resistant finish. If your deck becomes scratched or damaged, it can be spot repaired. WOCA Exterior Oil is made of natural ingredients that are environmentally friendly and VOC free. Therefore, your surrounding plants will be left unharmed, as well as your loved ones.

Treating any wood with oil will bring out the natural glow and in-turn darken the wood. Instead of oiling the teak furniture and losing the natural teak beauty, clean more than usual with WOCA Exterior Cleaner. While they won’t be as dirt repellent, they will maintain their natural characteristics and long life with regular cleaning. Compensate for less resistance with more frequent cleaning.

We recommend WOCA Exterior Cleaner for all decks because it can be washed away easily with a garden hose. The cleaning properties contained in Exterior Cleaner will not damage your lawn or surrounding plants. If furniture or other exterior wood surface is discolored or has clear signs of (black/green) growth, we recommend using the WOCA Exterior Deep Cleaner Spray because of its powerful grime cutting formula. It will effectively remove all growth and discoloration, but it is a harsh treatment and will also remove previous oil treatments. Be sure to re-oil with the Exterior Oil treatment used prior to using the Exterior Deep Cleaner Spray. For less affected surfaces, use WOCA Exterior Cleaner.

Yes, after using Deep Cleaner, the wood is completely clean. The microorganisms and dirt (for example) have been removed, but the wood is left open and unprotected. Therefore, the wood will quickly lose its natural beauty and qualities if it is not oiled again after using WOCA Deep Cleaner.

Product must be returned within 14 days after purchase. Product must be unopened, unused, in good and resell-able condition with the original package.  All returns require a Return Authorization number.  Return Authorizations must be requested by phone 877-962 2645 or email info@wocawoodcare.com

Returns without an RA# will not receive a refund.

All returned items are subject to inspection; we reserve the right to refuse any damaged or used items. PLEASE TAKE NOTE: The customer is responsible for return shipping charges. We do not refund shipping charges. No credit is given for lost or returned packages, and non-returnable items returned to us will not be shipped back to the sender nor credited to their account. Original receipt or invoice and Return Authorization number are required for any return. If your return is approved, your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment within 5-7 business days minus a 30% re-stocking charge.

Because of the hazardous material status of some WOCA Lyes, we cannot coordinate or accept returns for the following products: Antique Lye & Tester Driftwood Lye & Tester Softwood Lye & Tester

Yes! We offer free ground shipping on orders over $699 and on our testers/samples or on Subscription orders. *Driftwood, Antique and Softwood Lye products are not eligible for free shipping.

Due to the Sodium Hydroxide found in Driftwood, Antique, and Softwood Lye products, they have been deemed hazardous by the Department of Transportation and requires special documentation and transportation.

 A $75.00 Hazmat Fee per 1 box (4 containers) or testers is mandated by the Department of Transportation and is required for ground shipping.

Our warehouse ships Monday-Thursday. Orders received on Thursday and Friday will be processed and shipped by the following Monday. We use Standard Shipping Rates for U.S. Deliveries. Delivery will be made within 5 to 7 business days in most cases. If you need your items sooner, please select the necessary shipping preference.
