FAQ Do I have to topcoat the Wood Lye?
Wood Lye is not a finish, it’s a pretreatment. Lye treated wood is still unfinished wood. To protect your lye treated wood, apply either WOCA Master Color Oil or WOCA Diamond Oil Active.

Our warehouse ships Monday-Thursday. Orders received on Thursday and Friday will be processed and shipped by the following Monday. We use Standard Shipping Rates for all U.S. Deliveries. Delivery is usually within 5 to 7 business days once parcel has shipped. If you need to receive the items sooner, please select an expedited shipping type at checkout.
Due to the ongoing shipping delays and issues with UPS, WOCA Woodcare will not reimburse shipping charges for delayed, lost or damaged shipments. Shipping charges are determined by UPS.
When ordering Antique Oak Lye, Driftwood Lye, or Softwood Lye, there is an additional handling fee, and they must be shipped either next day air or ground using FedEx. This is due to the hazardous material status of these products.
